Back from the dead?
What is this? New layout? New content? New Raven? What is going on?!
Let me catch all (one?) reader(s) of Pinkhead (Hi mom.) up on the goings on in my life. I dyed part of my hair red. Images can be seen on my Myspace images and Gallery. I also played Maid of Honor in my parents hand fasting. They were actually just getting their vows renewed, using the Pagan hand fasting ritual in order to do so. It was a rather beautiful ceremony. My mother made a post about it in her journal.
Right now I am in the process of dying all of my hair red again. I’m done with having black hair. I want red again. I miss it. Mmhmm. And I will more than likely never dye it black again, either. (But you never want to say never!) This is mainly figured because of the grewling process that is stripping the black from my head just to dye it a different color. It’s pure torture. Not only to me, but to my hair. I fear murdering it so hard that it falls out. But hopefully that shouldn’t happen.
Anyways. I get to play Maid of Honor again on Saturday! Rantings on this can be found on the below post (which was stolen from my vox journal). But I’m excited I get to play pretty pretty princess for a day. I like dressing up in pretty dresses and lovely make up. Besides that I also made an awesome friend. The brides cousin who is also another brides maid, Michelle, is one awesome chicky. She is a vegan who is in the middle of living in California and Israel. Her dedication to being a vegan is very inspiring to me. Although I could never be a pure vegan, I could possibly pass as a Pesco-Lacto-Ovo-vegetarian. Those just don’t eat red meat and poultry, one thing I could do with ease. One thing I really appreciated hearing from her was when I asked her why she was a vegan she responded with, “Animals are sacred to me.” All I could do smile, when I in fact wanted to hug and dance with her and proclaim, “Me too, me too!” It’s great to learn that someone else shares a passion you yourself have, especially when they are more devout to it. She is also not afraid to be herself, which is very refreshing. Although, I did notice when she turned her back the bride and groom would role eyes at how she acted. Such shadiness as this just irks me. Why pretend to like someone when they actually get on your nerves? I find it ridiculous.
Michelle also creates jewelry and sells it on her shop on etsy. 10% of her proceeds go to a chosen Animal Charity! So, go buy her beautiful jewelry!
Alright, back to Pinkhead. Expect a little bit more activity. I do not plan on abandoning it again. See here for the reason why. Also, expect a little bit more content, which is currently in the process of re-vampage.
